Daniel 12 – The Great Tribulation

 

The Angel Michael is the only angel that is given the title of Archangel. His name means “like unto God”. He is the one that is going to cast Satan out of heaven. He is the one who protects the nation and Israel and stands in her behalf. All the remaining Israelites that believe will be preserved. All the Gentiles who are to be saved during that time will be preserved also. Those who died that were part of the Israelites and the believing Gentiles that died will be raised up to everlasting life. The dead in Christ shall rise first.

 

Those that will be raised to shame, and everlasting contempt will be the unbelievers and they will face judgment at the end of the 1000 years. When Christ establishes his kingdom on earth then the Old Testament prophets will rise and serve their master once again.

 

There will be many who turn to righteousness, not by their works but by their faith.

 

This prophecy has been sealed up to the end of time. We don’t know when that time will be, but we need to keep our lives focused and waiting for the glorious appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ.

 

In our day people are studying the Bible more thoroughly and because of this our knowledge will be increased. None of the wicked will understand prophecy more clearly but the wise shall understand.
