                                            I’ll Put Jesus First in My Life

There are many pleasures in life, some good, some tempting but not good. All pleasures in this world are only temporary. This is not our home. Our home is beyond this world. The only pleasure that is everlasting is the pleasure of knowing God and putting Him above all other. He must be placed first in our life, in all that we say and do if we want to have eternal life with Him in His home. The opposite of heaven is no pleasure at all. Let us strive to put Jesus first and allow the blessings to flow.

If you have ever been blindfolded and told to follow the sound of someone’s voice, you know that it takes trust, even when you don’t know where they are taking you. Our Savior will lead us in places where we have no idea where we will end up, it may be a long road, filled with challenges, maybe even heartaches. But knowing the destination is salvation in heaven, we are more willing to trust Him and let Him lead us.

Everything we say and do must be done with Jesus on our mind. He is not a now and then thought; He is a minute-to-minute thought. He knows us and loves us and we should always be mindful of His presence in our lives. We are to praise Him through all that we say and do. Get to know Jesus, let Him enter your life and say and do all for Jesus. You can’t go wrong!

                                                    Where He Leads Me

Are you allowing God to lead you, or are you trying to lead Him? If we try to do things our way, then we are trying to lead God as we don’t trust Him to lead us. While God is leading us, He is granting us grace and mercy and forgiving us when we sin. He will go with us through the good times and the bad times. He proves over and over that His way is the best way. Follow Him and He will lead you home. Your place in heaven is being prepared just for you.

I Surrender All

When we come to Jesus, we surrender all we have. We live our daily lives for Him and give up our worldly pleasures. In turn, He sends His Holy Spirit to dwell within us, complete with His love and power. He blesses us in all our needs and through our struggles. His Love for us is that strong.

Is Your All on the Altar?

Everyone has fallen short of the glory of God. There are moments in life when we feel our faith is weak and our prayers are not heard. God, of course knows our weaknesses and He is willing to strengthen us, if only we ask. God will always give us free will to make our choices, but His greatest desire is for us to give our all to Him. All of things, all of self, so that He can bless us and keep us under His wings. Let’s not hold anything back but let go and grow closer to God.

Jesus is my Rock; He is higher than I. He knows the struggles I am going through. He promises peace and protection, so when life seems to come heavy upon us, remember to Hide in the rock of ages. He will give us strength and courage to overcome whatever may come about. Our struggles may seem like a little matter to others but God takes all our problems on as if they were His own. If you really want to strive for perfection, then you must become like clay is to a potter. You must allow Him to mold you and make you into what you are truly meant to be. Only Jesus knows what that is and only Jesus can cleanse you of your sins and make you whole. Allow Him to be your Savior and let Him have His way with you.

Nothing Between

Can you honestly say there is nothing between you and God? It is hard to navigate in this world when there are so many ways the world can tempt us. Self-pride is a big one that can certainly get between God and self. We must always look to God and give Him the credit for all that we do. He gives us the strength to overcome temptation. He gives us the skills to do good for others. It is not supposed to be “all about me”. It is God and if we remember that then nothing can stand between you and God.

His Way with Thee

What does it mean to let Jesus have His way with you? It means surrendering all your burdens to Him. Let Him have your worries, your fears. Surrender yourself to Him so that He can save you and provide a future home for you in heaven. Serve Him with a giving heart in a manner pleasing to Him so that He would be glorified. His power will help you see that it was best that He have His way with you.

Does Jesus Care?

So many times, when we are amid a crisis, our focus turns to ourselves. It is hard to know that Jesus is with us, much less care for us. Our fears and worries take over the circumstances we are under, and it is hard to live above the circumstance and put our focus on Jesus. Jesus is always there with us, and He knows what we are going through. He is a loving compassionate Savior and will take us through to the other side of the dark place we are in. Remember God loves you and only wants what is best for you. He cares more than we realize.

Leave it There

Jesus knows when we are poor; He knows when we are sick and He knows when we are oppressed by outside forces. He Knows our aches and pains and our aging body. He knows all about us  and He is there for us  every step of the way. God is our provider, protector and defender. He hears our every prayer, and He wants us to bring our burdens to Him and leave them with Him. So often, we give our burdens to Jesus and then we take them back, thinking we need to do something. All we need to do is trust Him, knowing He knows what is best for us.

We Gather Together

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather together in My name, there I am in the midst of them” NKJ. Whether you are in church, a Bible study, or among friends, Jesus is there with you. When we are worshiping Him, He is blessing us. He is making His will for us known and will direct us in His will. He will protect us from those who oppress us and He will fight the good fight for us. Jesus Christ is Lord of All

Whether you are a follower of Christ or not, your outcome relies on Jesus Christ. He is Lord of all the earth, the people, all those who have gone before us and those who are in the upcoming generations. We can freely call Him King of Kings, Father of all. We can freely praise Him and adore Him. One might think they can run from Him or hide from Him, but Jesus knows all and sees all. He is here to stay. Trust in Him, let Him into your heart and believe that He is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Take the Name of Jesus with You

How much of your time do you give to Jesus? Do you take Him with you everywhere you go. In the car, in the store, to your laying down and rising up? Do you only call on Him when you are in trouble or confused and lonely. Jesus is with you always, whether you feel His presence or not. Try focusing on Jesus every minute of the day. He will protect you, comfort you and give you great joy and in the end, He will take you home with Him.

One Day!

 

One Day!

When we look around us and when we listen to the news, one cannot help but think that these dark days can’t get any worse. We expect any day now Jesus is going to come and take us home. Before Jesus came to earth as a baby, sin was rapid and the days were dark for everyone living in that time. The people heard of a baby born from a virgin to become mankind’s hope. People came from all around to praise and worship this child. He grew up being an example for all of us until one day those who opposed Him led Him up a hill to a cross where He was slain and died. Angels watched over His tomb until one day He arose from that grave and walked the earth once more. He finished His ministry on earth and ascended into heaven. This is our glorious Savior!

What a Wonderful Savior!

We do have a wonderful Savior! He’s done so much for us. He cares about every little thing we do or say and listens to our hearts when we are sad, angry, or happy. He wants us to know that He loves us so much that He was willing to send His one and only Son to die on the cross so that we can be washed in His blood and receive atonement for our sins. He gives us strength and power to overcome our weaknesses and invites us to give Him all our heart and praise Him in all things.
