Blessed
are You Among Women
“Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed
are you among women.” Luke 1:28. Wow! To have an angel of the Lord come to you
and say that is absolutely amazing! These words were said to Mary the mother of
Jesus. In Luke 1:46 & 47 Mary says, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my
spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.” Have you ever thought about how precious
you are in God eyes? Look at all the beauty around you. All the many colors.
Then look at the friends God has given to you and the people that surround you
when you are at church or any other gathering. The people God puts in our path
is because God trusts you to love and care for them as much as He loves and
cares for you. Did you get that! God loves and cares for you! Does that very
thought make your soul magnify the Lord and your spirit rejoice in God?
It does mine, I am so happy to be a child of God and to
know that He chose me and has called me to care for those around me and even to
you who read this blog. It makes me want to sing praises to God! If you don’t
realize this then go back to the scriptures. It is full of God’s love and grace
and mercy. What can we do without God? Absolutely nothing! Rejoice in the Lord,
even through your sufferings because He has something great in store for you!

them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
