His
Mercies are New Every Morning
Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.
Great is your faithfulness.”
Since God’s love and compassion are constantly renewed,
we are provided a fresh start each morning.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation, the old things have passed away, behold all things become new.”
Romans 3:23 “all have sinned and fallen short of the
glory of God.” The operative word is “have”. We have all sinned at one time or
another but unless you are at this moment sinning, you are not a sinner. Christ
died to take away your sins. He saved you by His grace.
Every morning you are faced with the choice of being one
with God or following your own ways.
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are
true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good
report, if there be any virtue, think on these things.”
