Psalm
113 – “Servants of the Lord”
“Servants
of the Lord” includes all of God’s people, for those who have trusted Him
surely would want to live for Him.
When
we worship, it is always a time to praise the Lord. Make every breath a hymn of
worship.
His
name should be praised from east to west, all day long, no matter where we are.
If you find yourself in a place where you cannot praise the Lord, maybe you do not
belong there.
We
worship because of who God is and what God does. The better you know God, the
more you will worship Him. The more you experience His grace in daily life, the
more praise you will bring to Him.
If
you have a problem praising the Lord from sunup to sundown, what will you do
for all eternity?
Psalm
114 – God’s Purpose
This
beautiful poem celebrates the exodus of Israel from Egypt. The sea, the river,
the mountains, and the hills all made way for the people of God as they marched
in triumph. Even the rocks became Israel’s servants and gave them water to
drink.
God
brings us out, takes us through, and leads us over. When you are following Him,
no obstacle can keep you from the goal He has set for you, except your sin and
unbelief.
When
you are in the will of God, all of creation works for you to accomplish God’s
purpose. You are God’s sanctuary (I Cor. 6:19-20), let Him have dominion in
your life.
