Holy Seasons of Tabernacles Leviticus 23 cont.

Leviticus 23 cont. Holy Season of Tabernacles

This is the third feast in the seventh month.  It followed the great Day of Atonement by only a few days.  This was after the offering for their sins and the harvest and fruit of the land were gathered in, there was observed this very joyful occasion.  They were to live in booths to remind them of their wilderness wanderings.

This Holy season will be observed during the Millennium: “And it shall come to pass that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to keep the feast of the tabernacles.” Zech. 14:16.

For seven days in the seventh month, they were to rejoice.

True joy only comes when we know we are right with God.

The celebration of the feasts and the observances of the Sabbath and Jubilee years must be performed in the light of the Holy Spirit and in the strength and power of Christ.
