Christ as the Chief Shepherd. Psalm 24

Psalm 24 – Christ as the Chief Shepherd

“The earth is the Lords.” There are many people today who want to run this earth, but it belongs to God. On the third day of Creation God said, “..Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering of the waters He called Seas; and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:9-10. It was life out of death and speaks of the resurrection.

I am going to ascend into the hill of the Lord, because I am going to be there in Christ. He has undertaken to present me before the throne of grace in His present priestly office because I have trusted Him as my Savior.

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates, even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. He is the Lord of hosts; he is the Lord Jesus Christ! He is King of kings and Lord of lords. And He is the King of glory.
