Rise
Up, O Men of God
Our men are the leaders of our church and family. They
are called to lead us in worship and praise. They are called to be good
ministers and live Godly lives among the church, society and at home. When our
men live such a life for God, they look like Jesus in personality, in word and
deed. The church is truly blessed to have good leaders in our worship.
Lyrics by William P. Merrill, arranged by Aaron Williams
“Rise up, O men of God! Have done with lesser things;
Give heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of kings.
Rise up, O men of God! His kingdom tarries long; Bring in
the day of brotherhood and end the night of wrong.
Rise up, O men of God! The church for you does wait; Her
strength unequal to her task; Rise up and make her great!
Lift high the cross of Christ! Treat where His feet have
trod; As brothers of the Son of man, Rise up, O men of God!”
