I Am
Coming, Lord
There is not one person on earth that God doesn’t think
is worth saving. Jesus forgives you no matter what you have done. “For God so
loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should
not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16. “The Lord is not slow to fulfill
His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing that
any should perish, but that all shall reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9. Hear His
welcome voice. Come to Him and be cleansed.
Lyrics by Lewis Hartsough, arranged by Lewis Hartsough.
“I hear Thy welcome voice, that calls me, Lord, to Thee
for cleansing in Thy precious blood that flowed on Calvary.
Tho’ coming weak and vile, Thou dose my strength assure;
Thou dost my vileness fully cleanse, till spotless and pure.
Tis Jesus calls me on to perfect faith and love, to
perfect hope, and peace and trust, for earth and heaven above,
I am coming, Lord! Coming now to Thee! Wash me, cleanse
me in the blood that flowed from Calvary!
