O
Come All Ye Faithful
What a joyous day that was when Jesus Christ was born.
Wouldn’t it be great if we had been there to witness His birth? To know that He
was born to be our Savior and the Son of God. Praises be to God, our Father for
caring so much for us to send His one and only Son to be born on earth. This
time of year everyone seems to gather together to sing praises to the newborn
King. This day should be celebrated every day of the year and not just on
Christmas Day. His birthday outshines all birthdays and gives us reason to sing
in jubilee. Glory to God in the Highest.
Lyrics by Frederick Oakeley, arranged by John F. Wade
“O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, o come
ye, o come ye to Bethlehem; Come and behold Him born the King of angels;
Sing choirs of angels, sing in exultation, O sing all ye
bright hosts of heaven above; Glory to God, all glory in the highest.
Yea, Lord we greet Thee, born this happy morning, Jesus
to Thee be all glory given; Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O
come let us adore Him Christ, the Lord.
Amen.
