All
Glory, Laud and Honor
Men, women and children alike followed Jesus, and they worshiped
Him as their king. At one occasion, Jesus rode into town on a colt and the
people spread out their palms on the ground. He rode through town while the
people sang praises to His name. All Glory, Laud and Honor belonged to Jesus
then and it still does today. He is our Redeemer, King and all praises go to
Him.
Lyrics by Theodulph of Orleans, arranged by Melchior
Teschner
“All glory, laud and honor to Thee, Redeemer, King. To
whom the lips of children made sweet hosannas ring! The people of the Hebrews
with palms before Thee went; Our praise and prayer and anthems before Thee we
present.
Thou are the King of Israel, Thou David’s royal Son, who
in the Lord’s name comes, the King and blessed One! To Thee, before Thy passion
they sang their hymns of praise; To Thee, now high exalted, our melody we
raise.
Thou did accept their praises, accept the prayers we
bring, who in all good delight, thou good and gracious King! All glory, laud
and honor to Thee, Redeemer, King, to whom the lips of children made sweet
hosannas ring! Amen.
