Defeated
Romans
8:31-39
“If God is
for us, who can be against us? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It
is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who makes
intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or
sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who
loved us?”
Nothing can
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
No matter
how others treat us or talk about us behind our back, if we are God’s child, He
will protect us and stand up for us.
He will
never leave us, nor will we have to fight our battles alone. Our God fights our
battles for us. Sometimes, we must be still and know that God is working on our
behalf.
We are not
defeated when we trust and believe in Jesus Christ.
Please
read the scriptures listed, study them, apply them to your life and grow in the
saving relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.
