Christ
Arose!
Clearly, Jesus’ followers who witnessed His healing hands
on the blind, sick and crippled and saw Him raise the dead did not believe that
He could raise Himself from the dead. Sure, some wanted to believe and others
had doubts. That’s why there was a stone secured in front of His tomb. Even
today, we want to shorten God’s hands and limit our beliefs in what He can do. All
that they did back then and all that we do now cannot stop God from doing what
He wants to do, even raise Himself from the dead. Now we wait for Him to come
back and take us home to be with Him in heaven. Do you believe He can do that?
Yes, He can.
Lyrics by Robert Lowry, arranged by Robert Lowry
“Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior! Waiting the
coming day Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph
over His foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever
with His saints to reign, He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus My Savior! Vainly they
seal the dead, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph
over His foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever
with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Death cannot keep His prey, Jesus my Savior! He tore the
bars away, Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph
over His foes; He arose a victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever
with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
