Give
What We Are
“We must not only give what we have; we must also give
what we are.” Cardinal Marcia
Have you seen the girl in the park sitting all alone with
tears in her eyes? You pray, “God why don’t you do something about this?” His
answer, “I did do something, I made you.”
God made us with eyes to see those around us who are
hurting and with hearts with compassion. He gave us minds of wisdom of
understanding of our past experiences to help those in the present through
similar trials. He gave us arms to reach out and hug those who are bereft of
Love and comfort. Arms to hold a baby or child to help a hard-working Mother
who is in much need of rest.
God gave us hands to support those who need a helping
hand in cooking, cleaning, sewing and yard work.
He gave us His Love to share with others. His Word to
spread, Praises to the Lord. Pray for others and Love one another as God Loves
you.
“Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed
down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap for whatever
measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return.” Luke 6:35
