Capture
the Moment
Ecclesiastes 9:10 “whatever your hands find to do, do it
with your might.” 9:12 “For man also does not know his time.”
When we go about our daily life, we sometimes seem to be
in a hurry, not taking time to look around us. Take this day to notice the
beautiful colors God has placed before you. Listen to the trees rustle in the
wind or the scampering of a squirrel up a tree. Try not to overlook what is
happening in the moment. Perhaps you are shopping. Notice the many faces, the
pretty eyes, the beautiful smiles, children playing. In your home, notice the
richness in the heart of your mate. Loving kindnesses from your children,
family and friends. If we look hard enough in any given moment, we can find
something positive to focus on. In our busy lifetime, we need to learn to slow
down and capture each moment. We need to live as though this day is our last
day on earth and we don’t want to miss a single thing. Take the time today to
listen to every noise, to notice every detail of everything that is set before
you. Then praise God and rejoice in His blessings, for He is an Awesome God!
