Channels Only

Are you a channel for God? God places in us the willingness to serve Him and others. He doesn’t use the rich and the high and mighty; He uses normal, everyday people. He uses skater’s who’ve become paraplegic to spread the gospel. He uses Holocaust survivors for their testimonies. He can channel His Holy Spirit through you to bring others to Christ. Are you a willing vessel to step out of your comfort zone and become Christ’s channel and bring others to Him?

Lyrics by Mary E. Maxwell, arranged by Ada R. Gibbs

“How I praise Thee, precious Savior, that Thy love laid hold on me; Thou has saved and cleansed and filled me that I might Thy channel be.

Emptied that Thou should fill me, a clean vessel in Thy hand; with no power but as Thou give graciously with each command.

Witnessing Thy power to save me, setting free from self and sin; Thou who bought to possess me, In Thy fullness, Lord, come in.

Jesus, fill now with Thy Spirit hearts that full surrender know; That the streams of living water from our inner man may flow.

Channels only, blessed Master, but with all Thy wondrous power flowing through us, Thou can use us every day and every hour.”
