Nothing Between

Can you honestly say there is nothing between you and God? It is hard to navigate in this world when there are so many ways the world can tempt us. Self-pride is a big one that can certainly get between God and self. We must always look to God and give Him the credit for all that we do. He gives us the strength to overcome temptation. He gives us the skills to do good for others. It is not supposed to be “all about me”. It is God and if we remember that then nothing can stand between you and God.

“Nothing between my soul and the Savior, naught of this world’s delusive dreams; I have renounced all sinful pleasure, Jesus is mine; there’s nothing between.

Nothing between, like worldly pleasure, habits  of life thong’s harmless they seem, must not my heart from Him ever sever, He is my all; there’s nothing between.
