Worship
John 4:23,24
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for the Father is
seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must
worship in Spirit and truth.”
A true worshiper is someone who acknowledges and praises
God with their whole being, including their mind, heart, and actions. This involves
understanding God’s character and His revelation, as well as living a life that
reflects that understanding.
Worshiping in Spirit means having a deep spiritual
connection, experiencing God’s presence and responding in faith.
Worshiping in truth involves understanding God’s truth as
revealed in scripture and through His character and living accordingly. Giving
God our deepest affection and highest praise. Being obedient to God’s commands
because we love Him and desire to honor Him.
We must actively seek God’s presence and desire to be in
communication with Him. God is worthy of our worship and we cannot do anything
without Him.
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
