Trust
Psalm 37:3-5
“Trust in the Lord and do
good. Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in
the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to
the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:3-5
“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret
because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked
schemes to pass. Do not fret, it only causes harm.” Psalm 37:7-8
We as humans try to fight our own battles, and it gets us
nowhere. When we put our trust in the Lord and allow Him to protect us and fight
our battles for us, things turn out so much better. God is so faithful to us,
that it is beyond our comprehension. He never leaves us, He knows what is best
for us, and He obtains victory over every battle we face. Why not let Him do
what He does best. Trust Him and you will find peace in the trusting. When we
commit our way to the Lord, our desires will be met, and we will rejoice
knowing that God is good all the time.
