Peacefulness
John 14::27, Romans 12:18
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as
the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let
it be afraid.” John 14:27
“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably
with all men.” Romans 12:18
Consider the peace of God. This peace is a supernatural
and abiding peace, separate from worldly peace. It comes from a relationship
with God through Jesus Christ. It is a benefit of faith that protects our
hearts and minds. We can put our trust in Jesus Christ, knowing that all good
things come from Him, and everything will turn out good if we keep the faith.
The peace of God relieves our anxieties, gives us a grateful
heart, and answers our requests. It protects us from anything that attempts to
break God’s hold on us. It gives us contentment in a troubled world.
God wants us to be rooted in His peace so that we can
worship Him. We can praise Him and have joy in our hearts. We can have this peace even through trials,
accusations, problems and disappointments. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your
Savior and begin to build that relationship so that you may also enjoy the
peace of God.
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
