Truth
John 14:6, John 17:17, Ephesians 4:14,15
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
Jesus’ prayer to God for His disciples. “Sanctify them by Your truth,
Your word is truth.” John 17:17
“That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the
cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may
grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ. Ephesians 4:14,15
We are living in a world full of deceit and scams. We
have trouble discerning what is truth and what is not true. There are those who
steal our identities, those who rob us of our bank account, those who outrightly
lie to our face. This all sounds so discouraging, but this is not the end of
the world. This world is just a passing through to the next world and knowing
God’s truth is a step into the heavenly world. How can we know God’s truth if
we are not studying His words? His words are the only truth that will set us
free. We must pray for discernment between right and wrong. We must always be
truthful to each other and live a life of truth in love for one another. As
Jesus is our Savior, we must be truthful in our lives and a good example to
others.
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
