Sincerity
Philippians 1:9,10
“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and
more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are
excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.”
Philippians 1:9,10
It is true that the more knowledge we obtain, the more we
learn to discern between right and wrong. We learn to excel in whatever we do.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 8:7 “But as you excel in everything – in faith, in
speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you – see that
you excel in this act of grace also.”
As we excel we strive more to become pure and blameless
for the day of Christ.
“His divine power has granted to us all things that
pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His
own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us His precious and very
great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of
sinful desire.” 2 Peter 1:3-4
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
