Love
Luke 10:27, I Corinthians 13
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your
neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love
does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek
its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices
in truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things.” I Corinthians 13:4
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the
greatest of these is love.” I Corinthians 13:13.
Is God asking too much here? Certainly not! It is not
hard to love one another, and it shouldn’t be too hard to love the Lord with
all our heart, soul, strength and mind. Just think of how much He loves us and
strive to return that much in return. We could never love God as much as He
loves us, but we can strive towards that goal the best we can. Study Him, get
to know Him, build on your relationship with His Son and learn to love Him. We
must try our best to incorporate I Corinthians 13:4 into our life. Read the
whole chapter and gain understanding. God Bless You in your journey.
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
