Faith

Matthew 8:5-13, Mark 11:22-24

“The Centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.”

Matthew 8:8

“When Jesus heard it, He marveled and said to those who followed. Assuredly I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel.” Matthew 8:10

“So, Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that these things will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Mark 11:22-24

We’re not talking here about a new car, a new bike, etc.  although I believe that if we sincerely need these things, God will provide when we ask and believe. However, God is more concerned about our heart. Ask for more compassion, a change of attitude, a more loving spirit. These things God gives freely. His forgiveness, Grace and Mercy are also free for the asking. He is a most generous God and will help us care for what is important to us, but especially to Him. “Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find.” Matthew 7:7.

Have faith in the one who gives and don’t be afraid to ask? He lives within you and wants you to ask for anything.
