Fruitfulness
John 15:1-8
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear
fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide
in Me.
I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me,
and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a
branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and
they are burned.”
John 15:4-7
“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much
fruit; so you will be My disciples.” John 15:8
When good things happen to us, we must praise the Lord,
for all good things come from the Lord. We cannot accomplish anything without
God. He is the giver of all and supplies us even with the air we breathe. To
live is to bear fruit. To bear fruit is to serve God and respectfully praise
Him for all the blessings we have. Let us not be like the branch that withers
and dies. Let us go forth and receive the crown of Jewels God has waiting for
us in heaven.
