Tribulation
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome
the world.”
In this world we have wars and rumors of wars. We have
floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, cyclones, hurricanes, pestilence, diseases and
death. There is a lot of grieving going on, but we do not need to fear these
things when we know where we are going. According to Dr. David Jeremiah, he
states that when Jesus comes to get us, all His followers will ascend into
heaven after our loved ones rise from their graves. On our way to heaven, we will
transform into a new physical body. We will still have this body, but it won’t
have scars, pimples and moles, we will have perfect vision, perfect hearing. No
more glasses or hearing aids. There will be no need for walkers and
wheelchairs. We will have perfect teeth. Once we ascend into heaven our bodies
will have transformed into the image of Christ. There will no longer be
tribulations like the ones we have here on earth.
There is no need to stress over what is happening here
because this is not our home, we are just passing through. While we are here we
learn patience, kindness and love for one another. We learn to be content with
what we have and help those who are in need. We are still on this earth because
God has a plan for each of us and we must fulfill His plan by being obedient to
Him and to Love and care for each other.
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul
who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the
Salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:25,26
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
