Worldliness

I John 2:15-17.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.” I John 2:15-17.

In life, we have choices. We can choose to do things our way or choose to do things God’s way. If we choose to do things our way then our pleasures are only temporary. It will seem good for a time but in the end nothing good will come from it.

If we choose to do things God’s way, He will always be by our side and make our path worth living. We’ll be able to rejoice and praise Him for all He does for us. We will abide in His will forever.

Please read the scriptures listed, study them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.
