Trouble,
In
Job 16, 31, Psalm 31, John 14:1-4, Hebrews
7:25
In Job 16, Job moans that God has made him a target for misery
and his friends are in no way comforters, but accusers. In Job 31, Job asks God
what he has done wrong and if he has done wrong, then let him be disciplined.
David in Psalm 31-David says, “You are my rock and my
fortress; Therefore, for your name’s sake, lead me and guide me. Pull me out of
the net which they have secretly laid for me. For you are my strength. Into
your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth…For you
have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities and have not
shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.”
David pleads his case before God in the rest of Psalm 31. Please read it.
In John 14:1 Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled;
you believe in God, believe also in Me.”
“Therefore, He is also able to save to the uttermost
those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession
for them.” Hebrews 7:25.
If you are knee deep in any kind of trouble, God is not
punishing you but is helping you to see the path He has laid out for you.
Whether you choose that path is up to you. That path is Jesus Christ. He always
provides a way out of your troubles. Look to Jesus and tell Him everything. He
will lead you if you let Him. Jesus is our shelter in time of need.
Please read the scriptures listed, study
them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus
Christ our Savior.
