Fear
Luke 12:5
“But I will
show you whom you should fear. Fear Him who after your body has been killed,
has power to cast into hell, yes, I say to you, fear Him.”
Jesus said
this to emphasize to His disciples the importance of prioritizing reverence for
God over fear of persecution.
We must not
be afraid to speak the truth publicly. It is our opportunity and responsibility
to spread the word and bring others to Christ.
Our
testimony could make a difference in another person’s life. Whether they accept
or reject God’s word is up to them. We must always stand up for God’s truth,
fearing not man but God who can destroy both body and soul.
Please
read the scriptures listed, study them, apply them to your life and grow in the
saving relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.
