Romans 13:14

“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.”

All the human appetites we experience to feel good, to get what we want, and to be treated well is not wrong to want any of those things, but those cravings become sin when we serve them above all others and are willing to harm others to gratify them.

When we clothe ourselves in Christ, it produces a new grace and power to abstain from indulging in evil desires.

Paul is urging those of us who are in Christ to change the way we live. We don’t belong in the darkness any longer. We must stand in the light. We must live as Jesus lives.

Please read the scriptures listed, study them, apply them to your life and grow in the saving relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.
