Sick-in-Pain
Psalm 38,
Matthew 26:39; Romans 5:3-5, 2 Corinthians 12:9,10, I Peter4:12,13,19
“I am
troubled, I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all day long. For my loins are
full of inflammation and there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and severely
broke; I groan because of the turmoil of my heart.” Psalm 8:6-8
“Do not
forsake me, O Lord; O my God, be not far from me! Make haste, O Lord, my
salvation!” Psalm 38:21,22
“We also glory
in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and
perseverance, character, and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint,
because the love of God has been poured out in our heats by the Holy Spirit who
was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5
Paul stated
in 2 Corinthians 12:9,10, “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness… For when I am weak, then I am
strong.”
“Beloved, do
not think it strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake
of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad
with exceeding joy.” 2 Peter 4:12,13
“Therefore,
let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in
doing good, as to a faithful Creator.” 2 Peter 4:19
Take heart,
those who are sick and in pain. God is our Great Physician! Seek Him out and
pray to Him, have others pray for you. God is a God of miracles, and He doesn’t
want anyone to suffer.
