Prayerful
Psalm 4,
Psalm 42, Luke 11:1-13, John 17, I John 5:14,15
“Hear me
when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me of my distress;
Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 4:1
“But know
that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly. The Lord will hear
when I call to Him.” Psalm 4:3
“The Lord
will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall
be with me – a prayer to the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8
Luke 11:24
is the Lord’s prayer. If you are having trouble finding the words to pray, this
is the go-to prayer.
“So, I say
to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock and it
will be opened to you.” Luke 11:9
“I pray for
them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom you have given Me, for
they are Yours.” John 17:9
“I do not
pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their
word that they may be as Me, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they
also may be one in Us.” John 17:20,21
“Now this is
the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His
will, He hears us.” I Joh 5:14
Jesus prays
for us; we also must pray for one another.
