Needing Peace
John
14:1-4, John 16:33, Romans 5:1-5, Philippians 4:6,7
“Let not
your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will
come again and receive you to Myself; That where I am, there you may be also.
And where I go, you know, and the way, you know.” John 14:1-4
“These
things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you
will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John
16:3
“Therefore,
having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ.” Romans 5:1
“Be anxious
for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses
all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 4:6,7
So many
things in this world are troubling and it can be hard to find peace amidst it
all. But when you believe in Jesus and know that He is in control over it all,
then that peace that surpasses all understanding is more attainable. If you are
a child of God, then you know how this story ends. Christ is the victor and
this world that we live in is temporary. This is not our home; we are just
passing through. May the God of peace rest upon your soul!
Please
read the scriptures listed, study them, apply them to your life and grow in the
